There was a time I could not cry

Stuck with a soul that could not fly

There was a time I could not give

I did but hide, I did not live

There was a time I could not feel

I just beheld, there was no zeal

There was a time I could not dream

The light was out, there was no gleam

There was a time I could not

Then Love came along.
