Virtual Reality
VR is a convergent set of tools, technologies and applications that gives you the sense of presense in a different environment which may be not accessible in the real world. Virtual Reality is one of the interesting branches of computer that has extended from different aspects. VR is a tool that gives the human ability of navigation in his imaginations and makes experiences different from what traditional life gives him. VRML is a language that is created with the aim of presentation of 3D Graphics or 3D Virtual Worlds with introducing a set of high qualified 3D elements on each personal computer connected to the web. With using of this language; shape of the elements, their attribute such as color, ambient and their place in the space is determined. So user can make rooms, cities and viewpoints that their shape could be controlled with him. An application with name of VRML Viewer is required to parse and present the VRML code. After representation, user can examine the consequenced virtual world One of our major fields of research in Armitis is on Desktop VR and VRML.
