Introduces the fundamental principles governing fluids at rest and in motion. Topics include fluid properties, pressure and hydrostatics, conservation of mass, energy, and momentum in integral form, and their applications to simple flow systems such as pipes and nozzles. Dimensional analysis and similarity, internal flows such as flow in pipes, fittings (valves, elbows, joints).

Builds on the foundations of Fluid Mechanics I, covering advanced applications of fluid motion in differential form. Topics include potential flows, boundary layers, external flows, turbomachinery basics, and an introduction to compressible flow.

Examines flows where viscous effects dominate. Topics include derivation of governing equations of fluid motion such as Navier–Stokes equations and their boundary conditions. Exact solutions of Navier-stocks equations. Boundary-layer theory, and stability of viscous flows in engineering and biological systems.

Covers the mathematical framework for describing the deformation and flow of materials viewed as continuous media. Topics include kinematics of deformation, stress and strain tensors, balance laws, constitutive equations, and applications to solids and fluids. Visco-elastic fluids.

Focuses on the theoretical and mathematical formulation of fluid motion. Topics include Navier–Stokes equations, 2 and 3 dimensional potential flows and surface waves. Exact solution of Navier-Stocks equations, vorticity dynamics, and flow modeling techniques.

Applies fluid mechanics principles to biological and physiological systems. Topics include blood flow in arteries, biorheology of blood, transport phenomena in tissues, hemodynamics, and modeling of cardiovascular and respiratory flows.
