General Interest: Conformal Field Theory and Its Applications
More Specific ones: 1) Logarithmic Conformal Field Theories, which are special case of CFT's. Their structure and appearance of some multiple fields in them is one of my major interests. Also its applications to problems like Abelian Sandpile Model (ASM) is rather interesting.
2) Stochastic Loewner Evolution (SLE): This newborn branch deals with the problem of random curves and their statistical properties. The curve can be considered as the interface of up-spin and down-spin magnets in the well known Ising model. The relation between this evolution and conformal field theory, the role of boundary operators and effect different boundary conditions are of the most important addresses questions. |
