MAHMOUD CHIZARI, PHD, FHEA

Mahmoud hold MPhil from UMIST, and PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Manchester and Post PhD in biomedical engineering from the University of Aberdeen. His research expertise lies in experimental/computer simulations of solid and fluid materials. He has published more than 100 technical refereed research papers in journals/conferences on various subjects in mechanical/biomechanical engineering fields, including book chapters, and patents. He has been involved as PI/Co-I or named researcher in many research projects in collaboration with world leading companies in the area of solid mechanics, design, structural integrity, bioengineering, biosurgical instruments, and holds international patents. He is also member of the technical program committee of several international conferences. He is a principal investigator and IP holder of the Artherx GraftBolt. He is currently adjunct professor with Sharif University of Technology and senior lecturer with the University of Hertfordshire. Prior to that, he was lecturer with the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Brunel University London..
