Short Bio
Dr. Ali
Nouri-Borujerdi is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering
at Sharif University of Technology. He received his Ph.D degree
from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in the USA, an M.Sc
degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in the USA,
and an B.Sc degree from the Iran University of Science and
Technology in Iran. He is a recipient of the best research
project of the Electricity Research Center award, Iran, (1995,
1996). Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Computational and
Applied Research in Mechanical Engineering (JCARME, 2008-2017),
Editor-in-Chief of Technology of Educational Journal (TEJ
2007-2017), Editor-in-Chief of Mechanical Engineering Journal of
the ISME (2020-present), outstanding professor of the Iranian
Society of Mechanical Engineers (ISME-26, 2018). His
research interest is in Mechanical and Interdisciplinary
Engineering encompasses computational, analytical and experimental study of
physical phenomena in environmental and industrial problems with
a focus on Modeling of Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer, Heat Pipe and Fuel Cell
Technologies, Energy Storage Systems used in Electric
Vehicles, Refrigeration, Thermal Management Systems as well as Air-Conditioning and Heat Pumps. Thermal
Management Systems control the required temperature to protect
the safety of devices such as electronic components, batteries
in electric vehicles, furnaces, linings in foundries, and ...
from failure. He has
extensive research experience in modeling, designing, and
developing advanced energy systems to address heat and mass
transfer limitations. His research has been published in leading
specialized journals and top-tier conferences.
